DESIGN THINKING HALF-DAY WORKSHOP

Key Processes: Empathize, Define, Ideate

The Do Tank design-thinking workshop is an action-oriented design thinking course, tied to a challenge to translate learnings into local impact. The Do Tank cultivates a group of people with varied skillsets to work together on a real-world issue, from collaborative ideation to collaborative creation. Whether you are a corporate executive, a start-up enterpreneur, a self-starter within a government organization, a school teacher, you can gain from design thinking as a mindset and process to negotiate uncertainty and change, and to uncover creative opportunities and take action with it.

This stand-alone class is an introduction class to design thinking. Do Tank participants are guided through a design process which goes through the phases of empathize, define and ideate.

DESIGN PROTOTYPING FULL-DAY BOOTCAMP

The Do Tank design prototyping bootcamp is an action-oriented design thinking course, tied to a challenge to translate learnings into local impact. The Do Tank cultivates a group of people with varied skillsets to work together on a real-world issue, from collaborative ideation to collaborative creation. Whether you are a corporate executive, a start-up enterpreneur, a self-starter within a government organization, a school teacher, you can gain from design thinking as a mindset and process to negotiate uncertainty and change, and to uncover creative opportunities and take action with it.

This stand-alone class focuses on thinking through action with prototyping, basic design thinking knowledge is encouraged, beginners should start with the intro class offered in May.  Do Tank participants are guided through a design process which goes through the phases of ideate, prototype, and validate.
